Practical Tools for Personal Resilience in Medicine: A WCMS Healthy Healer Retreat

Dr. Danna Park, local physician and HeartMath® certified trainer, will be conducting a workshop combining several of the HeartMath principles  with other practical tools for building personal resiliency.  HeartMath is a scientifically proven program that increases mental clarity, optimal function and decision making. Participants learn skills to minimize energy drains, such as irritation and anxiety, and skills to maximize their effectiveness, creativity and ability to manage challenging situations


Since 1991, the HeartMath Institute has researched and developed reliable, scientifically based tools to help people bridge the connection between their hearts and minds, and deepen their connection with the hearts of others.

In this workshop, you'll learn:

- Tools for managing uncertainty in the workplace

- How to respond dynamically and effectively to pressure, emotional challenge and change

- How to develop an effective skill set for reducing stress and improving well-                                                    being

- How your responses to events, communications or circumstances can                                                              deplete or renew personal resiliency
