It emphasized this issue as an urgent one, as epilepsy education is particularly important in our rural WNC areas where there is limited medical assistance from specialists. We offerred our full support of the bill and encouraged our representatives to will lean on WCMS as a resource should they need anything from us to help move this effort forward. We also explained our committment to working with them to face any challenges on this issue and those of similar concern to the health and well-being of our WNC community.
The letter was signed by Dr. Suzette LaRoche, Dr. Mark McNeill, and CEO of WCMS, Miriam Schwarz.
