Alert from Buncombe County Dept. of Health: Severe respiratory illness in children, especially those with asthma

Although we still are not aware of any cases or clusters of enterovirus-D68 (EV-D68) in NC, Buncombe County Health and Human Services is aware that regional medical providers have been seeing an increase in children with severe respiratory illness (wheezing/bronchospasm) over what is normal for this time of year.
